Cool People: Emma Williams

In the latest episode of Cool People, I talk to Emma Williams who has a 12-year-old transgender daughter called Emily. Emma describes the very emotional journey she has been on with her daughter and the devastating impact that the Bell V Tavistock High Court ruling has had on trans children in the UK. If you are someone who thinks that trans children don’t exist, please watch this video and then tell me what you would do if you were in Emma’s shoes?

Here are links to the websites mentioned in this video: – Mermaids – A superb charity which supports trans children and their families. – The Gender GP Fund – Crowdfund to subsidise the private treatment of trans people under the age of 16.
