Following all the blogging and vlogging I have been doing about my transgender transition, I was contacted by play writer and director Tracey Dene Powell initially to oversee a rehearsal for one of her plays which included a transgender character. After accepting, a couple of days later she asked me if I would like to play the part of the transgender woman! I thought it sounded fun, but I had no acting training or experience so I wasn’t sure if I could do it or not. I agreed to go along to a rehearsal to give it a go and when I did, I absolutely loved it! I am now well and truly signed up for it and it is an exciting you dimension to my life – as if I need any more!
