It’s been a busy day again today as I did a virtual trans awareness “Lunch & Learn” session for staff at Ofcom, closely followed by a virtual workshop on “Preventing Trans Discrimination in the Workplace” in association with Trans in the City. Both sessions were well-received and were very well attended.
Here are some of the very flattering comments I received from the sessions:
“Thank you Katie for being so open and engaging and for all the work that you do for Cool2BTrans. Your brilliant jokes made me laugh out loud more than a few times – my dog decided to go and nap elsewhere because I kept waking her up!” – AH
“Thank you so much for sharing your story and tips with us Katie – so insightful, honest and engaging!” – KG
“Your tips to be an ally are really helpful Katie” – KO
“Thank you for sharing your story Katie, such an invaluable session!” – LS
“Thank you for this session, Katie, it’s hard to keep being funny when the chuckles are on mute!” – JC
“Thanks so much Katie for such a brilliant and engaging session!” – JJ
”Thank you so much for sharing your story with us today, and tips on how to be a good ally. Your humour and resilience is extraordinary, and I can only imagine what a ray of light that is for people exploring/questioning their gender identity.” – KF
