In and out of the studios

I was in and out of studios last week…

I was delighted to have an extensive interview on Wednesday with Summaya Mughal at BBC Radio Leicester, where we discussed my journey to being the gobby trans woman that stands before you know! We also discussed my all latest awards.  You can listen to the interview here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0fhz8rr (fast forward to 37:56).

I then headed down to London for a full day of filming the following day for the amazing mental health platform, JAAQ. I did a day of filming for them last year, the results of which you can see here: https://jaaq.org/creator/2534 .  They are expanding the platform for the workplace now, so that’s what we filmed on Thursday. I always love working with the JAAQ team. They are such a great bunch of people.

If that lot isn’t exciting enough, if you watch the 6pm ITV News tomorrow (Tuesday 9th May), you should be able to see me being interviewed and delivering some trans awareness training (unless the schedules have been changed of course). My piece will be broadcast on the ITV regional news across 12 ITV regions – so basically nationally, except for ITV London and possibly Granada.
