I gave a 45 minute presentation to Empowered Women Empowering Women at the University of Leicester this week. There were two other excellent speakers – Sue Grogan and Camara Reed and I was on last. I really enjoyed it and I was able to put in plenty of humour despite my story being about a serious and challenging change to my life. I was very pleased with how it went and with how it was received. The only thing I should have done differently was to allow more than 10 minutes for questions as there were so many questions that the Q&A section lasted for around 25 minutes, causing the event to finish later than planned.
