Cool People: Zoë Perry

In this episode of Cool People, Zoë Perry talks to me about starting her transgender transition from male to female at the age of 73.

I really enjoyed talking to Zoë. She speaks so eloquently and with such warmth. Her words and experience should give some comfort and encouragement to both older trans people who may think it’s too late to transition and also to younger trans people who may be struggling emotionally. Both her and my lived experience show that you can be trans and be happy. It also shows that the World WILL accept the real you. Everyone else is too wrapped up with their own lives and worries to be concerned about how you live your life.
