Cool People: Rebecca Tallon de Havilland

In this latest episode of Cool People, I talk with public speaker on trans and HIV issues, model, hair and make-up artist, transgender affairs editor for Boyz magazine and peer support worker for 56T and Trans Plus at 56 Dean Street, Rebecca Tallon de Havilland about her extraordinary life.   The first transgender person in Ireland to have gender reassignment surgery describes her incredibly turbulent life, starting in Catholic Ireland, being sexually abused, living with HIV, admitting to herself she is trans, a chance meeting with her estranged daughter and changing the law in Ireland on passports for trans people.

I really enjoyed chatting with Rebecca.  She is so witty, engaging and down to earth.  This is an episode not to miss!
