Cool People: David Watters

In this week’s episode of Cool People, I sat down with my friend David Watters, an Inclusion & Wellbeing Consultant whose brilliant work celebrating diversity earned him a National Diversity Award in 2014 & a Vodafone World of Difference Award in 2010.

David founded the RESPECT Program, an Academic Management, Tutor and Business Support training program, and also founded & coordinated the Give ‘em Hope campaign, an online video initiative to uplift and encourage those who feel marginalised by labels.

David tells us about his experience growing up in the 80s, and how being openly gay has inspired him to carry out his amazing inclusion work. We also talk about his forthcoming book ‘Never Blend In’, a collection of original and Insightful interviews with celebrity & non-celebrity LGBTQ+ members which serve to encourage, inspire, uplift and give hope to any who may need it.
