In this week’s episode of Cool People, I sat down with my friend, Brian Abram. A very inspirational man, Brian, a paraplegic, suffered a serious biking accident in 2013 which left him a full-time wheelchair user, and has since become a self-published author with the wacky tales of Grandad Wheels and his grandson Charlie!
Brian originally wrote the stories to amuse his grandson, Charles but was encouraged to share them with a wider audience by his family and friends. Along with Illustrator Lynne Hickin and Printer/Producer Mike Dumbreck, Brain has created 6 unique Grandad Wheels stories that are available on his website; GrandadWheels.com.
“Above all else, these books aim to show that anyone in a wheelchair, whatever their age, can still have fun and be fun to be with” – GrandadWheels.com
