Being filmed for ITV News – what a week!

I have had an amazing week… I was interviewed for ITV News for a short series they are producing on what life is like for trans people in the UK today. They also filmed me telling my story to some business leaders in Leicester for the launch of HUMAN. The features are planned to be broadcast during the Six-o-clock Regional News (across 12 ITV Regions of the UK – so basically nationally, apart from ITV London and possibly Granada) on the 9th, 10th and 11th of May, although that may be subject to change. My episode is due to be on the 9th.

I took part in a breakout session and a panel discussion at the launch of HUMAN, as well as making some fabulous new friends too. I delivered some virtual trans awareness training for the NHS (as part of a series of 8 sessions) and I also delivered an in-person session to some staff and students at the University of Bath.

I absolutely love what I do!
